Welcome to Early Years at Phoenix Park.
EYPP is a warm, independent and not-for-profit early childhood service in Malvern East, welcoming children from six months to five years. Led by a volunteer parent committee, we’re proudly shaped by the families and community around us.
We want children to feel happy, known and at home here, with the freedom to play, explore and enjoy all that comes with being little. Our approach is grounded in three things that have always been at the heart of EYPP.
PLAY & CURIOSITY
All children learn through play. We give them the time, space and encouragement to explore their interests, ask questions, create, discover and make sense of their world.
NATURE & THE OUTDOORS
Outdoor play is part of everyday life at EYPP. Our beautiful grounds and neighbouring Phoenix Park give children space to move, get messy and connect with nature.
COMMUNITY & BELONGING
Every child deserves to feel known and every family welcome. Strong relationships between children, educators and families are at the heart of our community.
From first steps to Kinder...
From babies beginning Long Day Care to children getting ready for school, our programs are designed to support children through these important early years.
LONG DAY CARE
6 months - 5 years
Play-based care and learning in a warm, familiar environment, with plenty of time to explore, create and grow in confidence.
INTEGRATED KINDERGARTEN
3 – 5 years
Funded kindergarten within Long Day Care, combining play-based learning with the flexibility of longer hours.
SESSIONAL KINDERGARTEN
3 – 5 years
Dedicated three and four-year-old kindergarten programs led by qualified early childhood teachers, with play at the heart.
