Early Years @ Phoenix Park provides both 3 Year Old and 4 Year Old Sessional Kindergarten. 4 Year Old Sessional Kindergarten is also available to children attending Long Day Care via our Integrated Service. Our play based curriculum takes into consideration each child’s interests, needs, personality, family experience and cultural background, whilst reflecting the aims and outcomes of the Early Years Learning and Development framework.

2020 Kindergarten Term Dates

Term 1: 29th January to 27th March
Term 2: 14th April to 26th June
Term 3: 13th July to 18th September
Term 4: 5th October to 18th December

Sessional Kindergarten is closed during the school holidays. Our centre will also be closed on (date to be advised) for a professional development day for our educators.

Children are offered 15 hours of kindergarten per week.

Core Group Option A:
Monday 9:30am – 2:30pm
Tuesday 11:30am – 4:30pm
Thursday 9:30am – 2:30pm

Core Group Option B:
Monday 9:30am – 2:30pm
Tuesday 11:30am – 4:30pm
Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm

Core Group Option C:
Monday 9:30am – 2:30pm
Thursday 9:30am – 2:30pm
Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm

Core Group Option D:
Tuesday 11:30am – 4:30pm
Thursday 2:30am – 2:30pm
Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm

Children are offered 5 hours of kindergarten per week.

Red Group:
Tuesday 8:30am – 11:00am
Wednesday 8:30am – 11:00am

Purple Group:
Wednesday 11:30am – 4:30pm
